Joshua H.B. Kerner
Joshua H.B. Kerner is a pre-law student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in finance and economics, and a minor in judicial politics.
Mr. Kerner’s deep commitment to fellow students has driven extensive campus engagement since joining Ohio State. He has served as president of the Park-Stradley Community Council, a collaborative leadership body designed to improve quality of life for residence-hall members, and as technology and marketing co-chair for the 2023 Regional Business Conference for the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. He was also an Undergraduate Student Government senator and helped oversee the organization’s $400,000 budget each semester as financial coordinator.
Singing has been a longtime passion for Mr. Kerner. At Ohio State, he is a member of Men’s Glee Club, for which he formerly served on the executive board, and the Buck That! a cappella group. Beyond campus, he works as a U.S. Tennis Association referee and Ohio High School Athletic Association baseball umpire.
Mr. Kerner graduated summa cum laude and with high honors from Avon Lake High School in northeast Ohio. He continues to serve his alma mater and hometown as a trustee of the Avon Lake City Schools Foundation.
