Interim Co-Leader, Chief Clinical Officer and Senior Associate Vice President for Health Sciences
Dr. Andrew Thomas serves as the interim co-leader and chief clinical officer for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
He is responsible for all patient care services and medical staff administration. Previously, Dr. Thomas served as medical director of University Hospital and associate dean for Graduate Medical Education. He has been involved in university projects including the implementation of electronic health records, root cause analysis for safety events, patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency, simulation training, professionalism and physician health.
