Larry Hilsheimer joined Greif in May 2014 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining Greif, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Scotts Miracle-Gro.
Prior to Scotts, Mr. Hilsheimer held a number of executive roles over six years at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, including CFO; this was after a more than 28-year career at Deloitte & Touche, ending as a vice chairman.
Mr. Hilsheimer serves on the board of directors of the publicly traded Installed Building Products (IBP) and Root Insurance Company. He has served on numerous civic and charitable boards and currently serves the community as a board member of Battelle for Kids and on the Finance Committee of The Ohio State University Board of Trustees.
Mr. Hilsheimer earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. He sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Fisher and served as a board member for The Ohio State University Alumni Association. He also holds a law degree from Capital University Law School.
