Katy Endsley is the program director for the Ohio FFA Association, an intra-curricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership, with more than 27,000 student members statewide. FFA prepares the next generation of agricultural leaders by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Prior to her work with the Ohio FFA, Ms. Endsley served as chief of markets for the Ohio Department of Agriculture. During her time there, she represented Ohio agriculture on trade missions to China, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and received the Honorary Director of Agriculture Award. Ms. Endsley has also been an adjunct faculty member and instructor for both Ohio University and The Ohio State University, teaching courses such as Fundamentals of Public Speaking and Legal & Ethical Issues in Communication.
Ms. Endsley is currently serving as vice chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. In addition, she has served as chair of the OSU CFAES Agricultural and Extension Advisory Committee and as a member of both the Fairfield County OSU Extension Advisory Committee and the Fairfield County 4-H Advisory Committee. She currently serves as a local 4-H advisor. In 2017, Ms. Endsley received the OSU College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Science Young Professional Achievement Award.
Ms. Endsley earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Ohio State University. She received her Master of Education, Policy and Management from Harvard University.
She and her husband, Chad, live on a farm in Fairfield County and have three children, Caroline, Lily and Austin.
